Hi everyone!
I just wanted to tell you a story of how Total Film has given someone their lust for life back. My dad.
He had a heart attack a couple of years ago and had to have bypass surgery. Afterwards he became very depressed and felt his life was over. The only solace, apart from my mom, his wife of 38 years, were movies. He loved all kinds of movies. I moved away from South Africa almost 5 years ago to London and I have been sending him the Total Film magazine every month for the last 4 years. Recently when I went home to visit I asked him out of curiosity if he had any Total Film magazines lying around that I could flip through. He brought me into the sitting room and showed me where he keeps every issue I ever sent him. He then told me that he reads each magazine over and over and once he has done with the pile, he starts from the beginning again. It is the best thing that I could have ever done for him after the heart attack, he told me it gave him his happiness back by me sending the magazine to him every month.
It certainly is well worth the £8.00 I pay for postage every month.
Thank You for providing my dad with the little joy in his life.
