The first (and last?) diver/slasher movie sees a psycho frogman surfacing from Amsterdam’s canals to pick off prozzies and pervs.
Director Dick Maas of The Lift (1983) infamy delivers bags of crappy, dubbed dialogue and a TV-movie feel but adds a nicely nasty edge: a canal boat full of Boy Scouts discovering the first corpse is hilariously sick.
Enjoyable Eurotrash nonsense with decent extras topped by a half-hour Making Of.

Amsterdamned is great fun, with amazing chase sequences and it's no cheesier than other low budget horror films of it's era. Dubbing aside, It's a nasty fix of horror with loads of great ideas and plenty of energy.
