Millionaire Thornton Melon (Rodney Dangerfield) owns a successful chain of stores but his son, Jason (Keith Gordon), is a sad college geek. So Melon decides to enroll as a freshman and show his boy the ropes. An ideal ’80s Frat Boy comedy set-up – Thornton throws parties, Robert Downey Jr is Jason’s goofball mate, the college Dean is Dean Martin (geddit?!). No extras, but there are plans for a 2006 remake with Cedric The Entertainer.
