I've done so many bad things," wails Harvey Keitel, crumbling under the strain of his guilt at the climax to Abel Ferrara's burrow into depravity. Keitel's lieutenant ain't kidding: he's a violent, drug-chugging alcoholic and compulsive gambler with a twist of sexual perversity. That's a good day's work in anyone's book.
