Two of Laurel and Hardy's celebrated shorts from 1931, recently restored and bolstered by alternate foreign-language versions to give a running time of four hours. In the first, Stan and Ollie go to great lengths to avoid going on a trip with their wives so that they can attend a riotous party. In the second, they try to rescue their pet dog after their landlord has turned it out into the snow.
