Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure review

Film description

In a nutshell:

The original heart-of-gold metalheads say 'duuuuuude'. A lot. Oh, and travel back through time.

"History is about to be rewritten by two guys who can't spell."

Bill & Ted: 'Be excellent to each other'

Bill: 'I am Bill S. Preston ESQ'
Ted: 'And I am Ted 'Theodore' Logan'
Bill & Ted: 'And together, we are.. Wyld Stallyns!'

Bill & Ted: 'Party on Dudes!'

Before Wayne and Garth, before Jesse and Chester (of Dude, Where's My Car? fame) there came Bill and Ted... and they suck.

They can't play instruments, they're flunking high school history and if Ted's grades don't improve, he's off to military school - Bogus.

Enter Rufus (George Carlin), the all-knowing, guitar-shredding uber dude from the future, here to guide them on their most excellent adventure through time in order to save their grades, their band and their future.

Throw in a phone booth that surfs the passages of time and a heap of historical figures and this air-headed, yet oddly charming duo are off to rewrite the pages of history.
