A mixed box set of Brando movies, worth buying if you haven't already bought the two classics included. Standout here is Elia Kazan's On The Waterfront (1954), with Marlon brilliant as the New York longshoreman driven to defy corrupt union boss Lee J Cobb. A superb supporting cast (Rod Steiger, Eva Marie Saint, Karl Malden) is backed by Leonard Bernstein's only movie score. The second contender is The Wild One (1953), with Brando all brooding intensity as the boss of a black-leather biker gang invading an apple-pie small town.
