Delayed until May, Breakdown is a rousing, dramatic and passionate story, one that’s also high on suspense and adrenaline. We reviewed it back in Issue 14, but here’s the gist one more time: “On their way to California, Jeff and Amy Taylor (Kurt Russell and Kathleen Quinlan) break down in the desert. Unable to locate the mechanical problem, Kurt agrees to his wife hitching a ride – with kindly trucker JT Walsh – to a nearby diner so she can call for help. But she doesn’t return. And Jeff is understandably a bit shocked when he eventually locates the trucker: the man denies ever meeting him or his wife before.
