
Stephen King reaped more than he sowed with Children Of The Corn, an unexpectedly successful adaptation of his kiddie-horror short story. Even by his dodgy quality-control standards it's dire, with a bunch of Satanic nippers trying to sacrifice Linda Hamilton to "He Who Walks Behind The Rows". (Consider yourself rumbled, M Night Shyamalan.) The schlock horror silliness spawned two equally pointless sequels and four straight-to-video outings. Sensibly, the latter efforts aren't included here.
