Actor David Morrissey pays loving homage to his hometown in this tale of a London lad given a whistle-stop tour of Liverpool by a bookmaker’s assistant. Sadly, the film is better at capturing the city’s sights and sounds thanit is at endearing us to its frankly rather aggravating lovebirds.
