A Bullet For The General - DVD Review

Title
Extras

With a fine cast, a script by Franco The Battle Of Algiers Solinas and Luis Enríque Bacalov’s stirring score supervised by Morricone, A Bullet For The General (aka ¿Quien Sabe?) ranks as one of the greatest spaghetti Westerns. As the bloody Mexican Revolution rages, the film follows the blossoming friendship between sinister Gringo Bill Tate (Lou Castel) and gun-running bandit gangleader El Chuncho (Gian Maria Volonté). Backing brains with brawn and a lot of bullets, this epic allegory of ruthless American imperialism remains a pertinent, powerful picture.
