Julie And Julia is being ladled on to our screens this Friday.

The comedy drama takes the life of famed chef Julia Child (Meryl Streep), who helped popularise French cuisine across the pond, and blends it with that of blogger Julie Powell (Amy Adams) who set herself a goal to cook all the recipes in one of Child's books in a year.

And thanks to the presence of chefs behind the scenes, there's some truly scrummy grub on display. Which naturally got our stomachs rumbling and our brains cooking up thoughts of other foodie delights on screen.

So get your plates ready as we hit the cinematic kitchen and dish up some food, glorious food. And a couple of slightly dodgier dishes…
