His best TV work has been as ideas man rather than hands-on – Amazing Stories, Band Of Brothers and forthcoming HBO miniseries The Pacific.
TV we want to see: ET: The Series, where the titular extra terrestrial goes around helping out a different family each week, like an alien littlest hobo.
