These are absolutely awesome - but TF, please sort out your refresh on the pages! It's really pi$$ing me off having to scroll down twice every time a new page loads!!!! :(

I love these - but they aren't good movie posters.
I mean that if these had been used to advertise the movies before you knew anything about them I don't think they'd bring you in to the cinema.
They work amazingly when you already know the movie though.
So, '100 Great Special Edition DVD Release Covers' would be closer to the mark.
Kudos to the designers.

Quiet Life.... Exactly! My initial instinct was to not bother as I know how frustrating it is reading a feature with loads of pages.... I've been thinking that for ages... the refresh on the website is awful. AWFUL!!! TF CAN YOU HEAR US??? I tend to use the app to read larger features although you can't comment... Helena or anyone at TF if you read this can you please acknowledge that something needs to be done with the refreshing page and scrolling...don't you realise how infuriating it is??

Much appreciated Spartacus!

Glad to hear you're getting the page loading sorted.
I've stopped bothering with these 'list' features because of the web page problems. Clicking through a 100 pages is tiresome enough without the extra obstacles thrown in.

Olly Moss has an awful lot to answer for.

I'm one of the designers and just so you know I am a student like many of the designers who designed those posters.
Whats with the hate?

They are mostly pretty bland. Minimalism shouldn't mean dull and very formulaic. More fun can be had with some of the film posters from Poland, which have some pretty wild interpretations of the film's content, and which do a better job of epitomising the film and distilling it.

There's a few I really like. Can't look at them all, not because of page refreshing, but because I'm getting so far along and it keeps going back to no.15.
How can anyone not like the Aliens one?

They are very good, i like this kind of talent ! The creative way to just put some single element to remind all the movie is very hard ! I tried on the Harry Potter movies, you can check my work of minimalist poster just here : bit.ly/18joxAX
