Will definitely have to look up the scene with the villains discussing how they nearly killed Batman. "I threw a rock at him". Brilliant.

Glad to see the Arkham games in there.. I remember playing Batman on the Amstrad in the late 80s. It was an Isometric game where every door lead to a different puzzle and you have collect all the parts for the batmobile. Went on for ages..Brilliant.

Okay, so the Tumbler is cool, but surely the introduction of Burton's Batmobile is handled more stylishly. It's just boom - here's an awesome car. We'd already seen the Tumbler, all be it in camouflage paint. Also love the bit in Burton's film just after the car chase where Keaton fights off a load of goons. One guys vaults over a wall and pulls out two swords and Bats just raises his fists to fight him unarmed. Awesome.

Really fun read. Well researched. Personal favorite omissions....... the end of Batman: Arkham City where Mark Hamill's Joker makes an elegant bow out..... Batman destroying chemical plant in Burton's Batman. The music, visuals, so dam cool.......... unassuming introduction of Bruce Wayne at the party in Batman, Keaton at his coolest........ when he first drives Vicki Vale into the cave......... Basically I coulda done with 10 more moments from the original Burton film.

What? No Batman: The Bold and the Brave? Thank the lord, worst animated Batman series ever! Really good list, maybe a few too many from the Nolan series. Missing for me: Batman Returns, the bat/cat fight where the whip comes out; the 60s Batman opening credits and The Lego Batman games deserve a shout out for humour.

@chufferstud, good shout with the 60's theme. Completely forgot about that. One of those iconic tv theme tunes. Wonder if Nolan can add it onto the beginning of Rises. Dinnah-Dinnah-Dinnah-Dinnah-Dinnah-DarkKnight-Ri-ses

Come on guys, "Number 13) A Shocking End"? Do your research. In the original version of the film, Tim Drake SHOOTS the Joker, killing him. The Joker electrocutes himself in the child-friendly version. Next time make sure you have the right information.

I haven't read the list but they should include the end of Arkham City.

@Samuel2484 Yes that's right, I just prefer the censored version - Tim seems more deranged when he throws himsel at the Joker, even if the actual death happens off screen.

100! - Total Film this is getting ridiculous. Why is it constantly 50 or 100 Greatest...? It takes ages to get through. Make up your mind, be decisive and just go for 10 like everyone else!

I noticed in the cartoon one where the kid named Joel gets all excited about uber campy Batman stuff, he's also standing outside a "Shoemaker" store, just in case you didn't get the dig.

Great List, but I would have include the part in Begins when the henchman is running around all panicked and shouting "where are you" and Batman appears upside-down behind him and says "here". Simple and gives me chills every time. Also the scene where the Batpod emerges from the destroyed Tumbler is thrilling. I've seen it at least 10 times already and I still get that feeling.

I'd take out anything from Batman Forever and Batman and Robin.. there's a great bit in Batman Returns when the Penguin is controlling the batmobile.. (I can't remember it exactly but...) as he is heading towards a particularly narrow gap Michael Keaton says something like "this isn't good"... it was the first time I'd ever seen Bats look remotely concerned about his health. Good list though

On #98 the words were Jim Gordon's, not Batman's. But yes, one of the best Batman moments indeed.
