Even I like QT as a director, but he is always overly comic in his "acting" roles.....even when he's trying to be serious (it's even worse then!). That said I have to say that his part in "From Dusk Till Dawn" did fit his acting style (creepy psycho lunatic - perfect for Richie Gecko!).

In your picture for Spielberg's cameo in #13: Gremlins, that's also a cameo from the late, great Jerry Goldsmith behind Randall Peltzer. He's the one in the cowboy hat.

Ridley Scott's hand, at No 15? Who puts these lists together?

I like the Alien one, what's your effing problem @LSJShez? Prick. I'd also add in one of the early pub scenes from Withnail and I. It's Bruce Robinson who hands over a pint.

"I think Clint Eastwood appears in Unforgiven for a time, I could be mistaken.." True; but I wouldn't say his role in Unforgiven is a cameo appearance, Hadouken76.

Jareth64, Is it a great cameo? Is it the 15th greatest cameo ever? Is it better than Landis' for Werewolf? No, No and No. Sh*t Kicker.

Surely it's Cameron checking out the beard and not being checked with the beard (No.54)? I mean, you have seen pictures of him before, right? He's the dude on the right, in the uniform, looking like big Jim.
