You substitute 'sugar', for 'money' to make the Scarface quote accurate...
Jan 2nd 2012, 14:32
on a similar note, Family Guy parodied 'All The President's Men' but has the shadowy character instead being Kermit the frog..

No. 67 - surely that should be Alien, not Aliens. It was Dallas crawling around in the ducts.
Jan 2nd 2012, 19:15
yeah i was also thinking it must be Alien, not Aliens....i always laugh at the fugitive & psycho parodies, the fugitive one just for the sheer sight of millhouse jumping off into the water below (poor old millhouse), and the psycho one is so insanely stupid & clever all at once it could only be thought up by simpsons writers, with the great shot of red paint going down the drain ha ha :-D

Surely 72 is "'Salem's Lot", not "The Lost Boys".......?
Jan 3rd 2012, 15:48
Yea Salems Lot makes more sense!
Jan 4th 2012, 12:48
And 'gold clubs' would make more sense than 'hockey sticks'..
Jan 4th 2012, 15:30
and golf clubs even more still

How is The Lord of the Flies not on here?? That episode is CLASSIC!!

I love all of this, it shows that when the writers want to their parodies can be awesome.

Where is Patton? Bart The General was 1st Season and was a clear tribute to Schaffner's epic biopic. "War is not great, with three exceptions: The Revolutionary War, World War II, and the Star Wars trilogy".

What about McBane? That's just one long parody of all Arnold Schwarzenegger movies!

No1 us undisputable, but among the top 20 should be the scene from "Bart gets an elephant". When Marge pulls
the dinning room curtains open, there is the elephant's eye right behind the window. The pupil shrinks in a moment, a classic Jurassic Park spoof.
Another Jurassic park reference is in Homerazzi, when Homer, Lisa and Barney fly a helicoppter towards an island, with fanfare-like music playing in the background.

wow excellent job with Number 1
Jan 5th 2013, 22:12
No "The Debarted"? That was a great episode
Jan 6th 2013, 23:35
The only one missing for me is the Godfather reference when Lisa finds that pony in her bed and screams her head off...always loved that one

What about The Island Of Lost Souls clip in one of the Tree House of Horror episode? Also with The Graduate reference how about the 'Grandpa mimics Ben in the chapel window calling for elaine' scene?

in the 22 short stories about springfield, i think pulp fiction is referenced multiple times not that I've seen pulp fiction but I've read the story
