Why We Need It: Because the original remains one of the most visceral, unsettling, and yet soothingly hypnotic animated features we've ever seen, and we're at a loss to imagine how the live action/CGI remake allegedly being mooted could possibly improve on it.
What Would The Story Be? We'd rather just sit down to a whole new movie than see our eerie childhood staple coldly dicked about with - and what better time to reinforce the nagging environmental concerns that underpinned Richard Adams' original novel with some newer, more pressing ones?
In our child-spooking sequel, the bunny ghost stories surrounding General Woundwort and his never-found body are made grim reality when a supermarket development unearths the ragged carcass. Cue mass rabbit hysteria and a new cross-country odyssey...

So so list.... Iron Giant for sure but do we really need a sequel to Cool World? That film was pretty DOA. And Wall-E may be pretty good but definitely said all it needed to say (mostly by the half way point) How about some love for The Secret Of Nimh, Great Mouse Detective, Finding Nemo or Spirited Away. possibly the coolest choice could have been South Park: The Movie :-)

How about Disneys The Black Cauldron? The original is suppose to be gory or Titan AE minus the emo-soundtrack and Kangaroo pilot

@devilsfoxes - South Park was totally in this list, but I dumped it in favour of Powerpuffs due to slight concerns about predictability...EVERYONE wants Parker and Stone to feature us up a second time! Good suggestions tho, Basil The Great Mouse Detective came seriously close to being included too. @Hadouken76 - great shout on TBC, I'd love to see that revamped.
