With your choice of Reznor and Ross winning an undeserved Oscar as your number one "Good Things About Oscars 2011" it's clear as day that you have no clue what good film music is.

Really, filmmusicman? I think there have been some great soundtracks this year but The Social Network's was just stunning. A deserved win not just for being brilliant, but for daring to be different.

Daring to be dreadfully dull and uninteresting. The score didn't enhance the film one small bit. Droning synthesizers under a lame 3 note motif is not "stunning." This is Berk, Forbidden Friendship, Test Flight and Romantic Flight - now that's stunning - and John Powell was robbed last night when his far superior score to How To Train Your Dragon wasn't awarded the Golden statue. Dragon showcases skill, creativity, and inspiration and will be the one that people will remember for years to come.

M'afraid it shall have to be a cast of agreeing to disagree. I just think the Oscars really got one thing right on sunday by giving something more interesting than usual an award. I'm not saying the other scores weren't great - and it is all, after all, subjective - but hey! Maybe i'm just a sucker for droning synthesisers playing more than 3 notes and electronic versions of Peer Gynt.

Hans Zimmer was robbed of the best score. Jennifer Lawrence looked gorgeous as a blonde. Kirk Douglas was car crash tv.

@hadouken76, Hurt is a very good song. you can't used that as a reference it's obvious you failed.

So glad that Scarlett's dress got a mention!!! Although she had no connections to any nominated film, the sight of her magnificent curves on the red carpet made my jaw nearly fall off. Even better was Ryan Reynolds not being by her side
