This style might suit stuff like V for Vendetta, maybe Sin City etc (it feels like Saul Bass meets soviet propaganda) but this feature doesn't do the artist any favours as it makes them look like a one trick pony.
Watchmen and DotD were just wrong.
They don't seem to work, it's an interesting style but it really doesn't work with most of the movies. like oui3d says: it should work better with Sin City, The Spirit and maybe movies from the 50's, the Frankenstein one seems to work, but the rest of them feel like other movie.
