The Comic: Marvel's first black superhero originally cropped up in an issue of Fantastic Four, before going on to bag his own line of comic-books. The chief of a tribe in the fictional nation of Wakanda, Black Panther boasts an array of superhumanly acute senses, as well as preternaturally advanced strength, speed and agility. Panther sense, if you will…
The Movie: We'd focus upon Chris Priest's story arc, in which King T'Challa (Black Panther to you and me) catches word of a coup in the offing within his government. Heading to New York for a UN summit, Black Panther sets about investigating this potential uprising, before taking on his usurpers in an almighty showdown.
Dream Director: To direct this melting pot of action and intrigue, we'd call upon Paul Greengrass to bring all of his experience on the Bourne movies to bear.
Cast: If Anthony Mackie were to hit the gym, this could be the starring role to propel him to the next level of Hollywood stardom. Meanwhile, we'd cast Armie Hammer as FBI attaché, Everett K Ross.

Olga Kuryekno would make a more authentic Black Widow, than the attractive but performance-stunted and monotone Johansson. Deadpool deserves better than his 'end boss' role in Wolverine. Couldnt they have rebooted Daredevil instead of Spiderman?

I thought the Civil story arc was one of the best i've read from marvel, but i think its too big to fit into a movie, especially as it leads into the Secert Invasion and Dark Reign (which is also really good) arcs and isn't really resolved until the Siege storyline. I think it would work better if they had a 'Marvel Universe' tv show, but that's probably wishful thinking.

Oh, and i also still have an issue with the same actor playing two different characters from the same comic book universe (i'm shaking my fist at you Chris Evans!) - so sorry Idris Elba, you can't play Luke Cage.

Silver Surfer. Deserves a better crack of the whip than those awful FF movies.

I think Idris Elba is awesome, but apart from the fact that he's already played two different characters in the Marvel Universe, surely Michael Jai White is perfect casting for either a 70's era Luke Cage or a more up to date version?!

Your idea for Captain Britain actually sounds really interesting. It would be good to see how Cap would deal with the rampant corruption and the riots from last year. Would he be a government paid whipping boy or a drunk in a pub watching Britain crumble around him.
