The Comic: Mitchell Hundred turns into the Great Machine after an explosion at Brooklyn Bridge transforms him into a walking, talking human motherboard. With the ability to control and communicate with mechanical devices (cars, phones and guns), he becomes the world’s first superhero. Then, when he helps out during 9/11 rescue attempts, he’s elected Mayor of New York City.
Big-Screen Plot: The politics is the interesting stuff here, and its combination with the superhero stuff is Ex Machina’s calling card. So let’s have a flashback-riddled plotline that sees Hundred facing a new foe in his office who he once had to fight as a superhero.
Dream Cast: Edward Norton
Directed By: Jon Favreau

Although i think that any Preacher adaptation is going to be a mess (although the HBO series idea that everyone wants is the best way to go about it), James Franco for Jesse Custer, not James Marsden. How about Emily Blunt for Tulip and Tom Hardy for Cassidy?

Leave It to Chance. It was a great all-ages book and would find a ready-made audience once the Harry Potter movies are done.

2000AD's Slaine should be made into a flick. An Irish Celtic warrior with an axe that makes William Wallace's claymore look like a toothpick. A cross between Conan The Barbarian and Lord of the Rings directed by Peter Jackson and starring Michael Fassbender but with an 18 cert. The Horned God series would make a brilliant flick... Check out this amazing Slaine fan film on youtube... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRIPAsbhZpM

100 Bullets is missing here. That one might work better as a cable miniseries, though.

I'm with Greagoir: Slaine would make the finest comic adaptation put to screen.

"Promethea" is about as weird as it gets and my all-time favorite comic, but you could never do a faithful adaptation, and anything less would be a disappointment. "Strangers in Paradise" isn't all that weird, but I think it would make a terrific film if it was well cast and stayed true to its characters.
