The Original: Political intrigue meets massive guns in this booming thriller that casts Arnie as a US Marshal working for the witness protection programme.
When a scientist from an arms company comes under his protection, Arnie must help her prevent a conspiracy that could put US security in the toilet forever…
The Sequel: Having effectively erased himself at the end of the first film, John Kruger is enjoying a well-earned retirement in the peace and quiet of the countryside.
However, it soon emerges that he hasn’t been quite as thorough as he first thought, and before he knows it, Kruger must go back on the run from another wave of corporate baddies.
Essential Scene: Arnie is doing some colouring-in on his front porch when he finds himself caught in a hail of gunfire. Looks like retirement is over…
Essential Dialogue: Arnie confronts one of his old colleagues, who is understandably startled. “But…but…you’re dead,” he splutters helplessly. “Ya,” agrees Arnie grimly, “I got better.”

Did you guy's actually look at him in the Expendables? He looks about 703 and can barely walk.. mind you getting him to work on any major action role serves him right for producing so much c**p towards the end of his career. Yeah, snap Govinator, Snap!

“Okay,” growls Matrix, “this time it’s personal. Just like last time.” Ha-ha-ha, bravo!!! Great feature. Hope we will see him in movies once again in lead or supporting roles, there're still ways he can be entertaining. Don't necesserely need to be action genre, but please don't get all political on us.

Expendables - Agreed, he did look flipping old, it even brought an 'ahhhh bless' moment as he staggered down the church aisle like a pensior nipping to the co-op. Although i would have loved to see him at least do a little bit of action in it. True Lies- this was always the one i wanted to see a sequel to, it was an awesome movie and suited Arnie perfectly. @Wickerman - I believe they did make a sequel to Predator. think it was called Predator2 I for one, would have gladly watched Arnie in any movie and would have much rather he had not gone down the political route and just stuck with the acting (ahem) and churned out a muscle bound blockbuster every couple of years, who knows, with todays technology (Tron Legacy in particular) being able to make the actors look young again hopefully he may grace the screens again, hey if Indy can do it...............

@dalidab1982..........I would still have preferred an Arnie cameo, but the CGI arnie was good enough, I cant decide which i prefer out of T3 & Salvation...yes T3 was poo, but it had Arnie in it and that for me is always a winner. Salvation had some nice touches (Bonham-Carter not one of them) but I would have preferred to have seen Kyle being sent back etc instead of him being a gawky teen....nice touch with the John Conner fixing up the motorbike whilst Guns n Roses played out on the radio.....
