The Victim: Scandinavian shag-buddy Ingrid (Irina Bjorklund).

The Despatch: Shot in the back by her lover Jack (George Clooney).

The Nasty: Context is all. Ingrid has just enjoyed a romp in a log cabin, only to find in quick succession that a) somebody's trying to kill her boyf, b) he's a dab hand at killing them and c) he can't compromise his cover by leaving witnesses, even if she's hot.

And we're still only three minutes into the film.

      A Serbian Film no.1, there couldn't have been any better choice, but i still don't think that scene is the most shocking from the film, even in the uncut version

      Okay...I realise this is a bit geeky, however, if you had actually bothered to watch The Killer Inside Me you would know that the (supposed) number 2 Nastiest Death scene on your list doesn't qualify because Jessica Alba DOESN'T DIE in this scene...she gets blown up at the end of the movie. Get it watched Kinnear and then post a retraction lol.

      Looks like I've got out of watching Buried, thanks Total Film! You should do this more often, it saves me spending hours watching s**t movies!

      dude! you totally ruined the whole point of mother AND buried!! also I thought that the killer inside me/jessica Alba scene was not gruesome or too horrible at all.. I suppose Casey Affleck was creepy, but he always is.
