Ravage

Soundwave’s little helper. Back in the day Soundwave had a set of cassette tape minions, but as he’s no longer a tape deck it makes more sense for Ravage to be a tiger-like beast machine.
Barricade

The first film saw Barricade disappear toward the climax with no explanation, something which writers Robert Orci and Alex Kurtzman have described as a ‘loose thread’ for the sequel. But will he still be a Saleen S281 police car? Maybe not…

Cool pictures, thanks! However, when was Ironhide ever a tank? As far as I recall he was a red van, like this: http://www.rhoadeslawoffice.com/Transformers/Battle2/ironhide.jpg Also, slightly poor wording on the Ravage description: "back in the day Soundwave had a set of cassette tape minions, but as he’s no longer a tape deck it makes more sense for Ravage to be a tiger-like beast machine" - ravage was ALWAYS a tiger-like beast machine, it's just that his SECOND form was a tape, not a car. I would have thought that the biggest news here is that they're apparently pulling some sort of 'jaguar' pun from the looks of the picture. Niiiice.

@ Padman. The writer was obviously referring to the alternate-continuity crossover between Transformers and G.I. Joe, where-upon Ironhide was a tank. Obv. :)

Dirt Boss the toy the only thing we've seen of Devastator? Nope. What about the Tank Deception who was renamed Devastator in the movie, despite the toy, like the original version in the cartoon, being called Brawl? Or how one of the Constructicons (Bonecrusher) was killed by Prime in the film?

Good information, chicks. Thanks. But surely that cross-over was in the comics, not the 'old cartoons' as the writer suggested? ;) Either way, good to know they didn't just make it up.

So. The cartoon series was essentially a long-running advert for toys (still great though) and now the films are million-dollar car adverts, for the US car industry, which is a stupid, lumbering, outmoded beast, just like the first film. Why couldn't they have got James Cameron on this instead?

@Ray Peterson: He's been working on a small film called Avatar recently, don't know if you've heard of it? Sounds good. No transformers in it, mind.
