Same old "# Potential Directors for _____" list by TotalFilm. The same thing was done for The Expendables 2. All you guys do is name every popular director at the moment whether or not it's a good fit. A monkey could do that. Do you really see David Fincher directing Kick-a*s 2?

@mattimdb. If you actually take the time to read the list then you'd realise that this is based on directors that studios would most likely pick because of their popularity and directing skills. I no way does it constitute anybodies personal opinions. It even explains why they probably wouldn't, like with David Fincher.

@FBJRider, then I may as well add Martin Scorsese to the list because of his directing skills. It makes as mcuh sense as some other entries here. @DanRose, so much for intelligent conversation, I guess? I assume you would like everyone to be cheery about these lists so that you can enjoy your Fridays, no?

Nolan or del Toro I would bloody love to see, no lie. Would also love to see Vaughn returning. Not sure about Singer (although tbf he's still involved in production by way of, er, producing) and not sure about Abrams. The first film was kinetic enough, we don't need additional lens flares xD

Robert Rodriguez would be awesome because kick-a*s is clearly his type of film but he is supposedly making Machete Kills.

Come on guys. No Tarantino and Guy Ritchie? I mean if you pulled some fantasy directors like Nolan why not go with Taratino as he would be more than suited to capture the comic book feeling while also making some very creative use of the violence in the source material. Guy Ritchie worked with Vaughn on the best movies of his career. Seeing how Vaughn will return to produce who better to get behind the camera than his old pal ad director who really knows how to mix action, comedy and drama while also making the characters stand out. Plus, he's very creative behind the camera.
