The Kick-Ass Woman: Not just any nanny, Ms Poppins knows right from wrong, and fully enforces that through her work. She’s also a little bit magical, and sticks to her guns better than John Wayne. Misbehaviour will not be tolerated. From anybody. Ever.
Sensitive Side? Well, she is a nanny, which means she likes kids. We assume.
If She’d Been A Man: She’d run her nursery with military precision. A bit like the captain in The Sound Of Music, now we think of it.

To this list I would like to add the girls in The Runaways (2010) for rocking so hard in a man's world, the girls in Whip It (2009) for being so cool and Raimunda (Penelope Cruz) and the rest of the female cast for kicking a*s (they even carry and hide a dead body) in Volver. These are the first ones that come to mind. I'm sure I could come up with more if I took more time to think about it.

Bette Davis as Margo Channing in All about Eve. Intelligent, sexy, a bit of a diva but with a good heart.
