One of my all-time favorite buddy cop movie is Adieu Poulet (a.k.a. The French Detective, or literally "Farewell, Copper") with french superstars Lino Ventura as the grumpy hot-headed old-timer and Patrick Dewaere as the young, wild, sensitive rookie, teaming up to bring down a corrupt politician. Also... Tango & Cash... And this list needs at least one Terence Hill / Bud Spencer film!

Starsky & Hutch (2004) is so underrated. Every line, every actor, everything in this film is hilarious. I've seen it about ten times and it never gets old... All it needs is a sequel!

A cop who takes a traditional approach to policing, Detective Pep Streebek (Tom Hanks) makes his mum dead happy by teaming up with his wacky uncle, Sgt. Joe Friday (Dan Aykroyd) to crack the case........... That is not the plot to Dragnet. Have you even seen it?

@cc1129 - Kerb is how the word is spelt in the UK. Curb is the American spelling, so Gem Seddon did spell it correctly and you now look like an eejit.
