In the film: James Stewart tiptoes down a London street while chasing a dead-end lead in an impossibly tense and classicly Hitchcockian scene.
The Google view: Unusually for Hitchcock, this is a real location - Plender Street in Camden - as was the taxidermist which Stewart visits after his tortuous stroll.

This is pretty cool. A friend of mine recommende going on the London Film Locations bus tour which goes to all these places and shows clips from the films along with interesting anecdotes.

Some good shots of London of then and now. Can also recommend going on a walk of London Film Locations I did with a mate recently. The guide Kevin made it a fun couple of hours.
