Invisibility

You know you’ve got it when: You go all see-through, obviously.

Made famous by: Sue Storm (Fantastic Four), Sebastian Caine (Hollow Man), Violet Parr (The Incredibles), Harry Potter

How would you use your power? Handy if you wanted to spy on your boss, or perhaps prank the school bully without them knowing (Harry Potter style). Or you could simply become hide-and-seek world champion.

Disadvantages: Invisibility’s all very well but if you’re not quiet and agile as well, don’t bother. Plus if you practise it too much, you might just get stuck that way permanently.

Verdict: Fun, but the novelty would soon wear off and you might end up giving someone a heart attack when you re-appear.

      How about the ability to travel one second into the past? Or the ability to teleport yourself up to a distance of one centimetre.

      Blade couldn't fly, could he? Hadouken76 - Mutant powers don't manifest till puberty so Cyclops' mum would have been alright - sorry geeked out a bit there.

      Greatest superpower I've seen was from TV show 4400, where a woman by touching someone could reveal genetic talents and abilities to that person. Imagine how much we could advance! From the list I'd choose mind control/telepathy/power of persuasion/whatever, cause it's sneaky as people don't realise and like becoming a president of powerful states would be eeeeaaaa-sy!

      Plastic Man for super-stretching! All you guys can think of supers from DC is Superman... Movie or not, all of the supers should've been mentioned.

      Now how about Dumbeldore or Voldemort? Both surely fought against each other by manipulating fire (Voldemort) and water (Dumbeldore). Dumbeldore even managed to destroy all the broken glass into tiny snowflakes by freezing them into pieces. The books were written by a British... Come on!!!
