On-screen, Brando’s brooding, intense machismo was the look of the early 50s.
Little did his adoring fans know that in private Brando was a sensitive softie, collaborating with a friend on his pet project - an adaptation of Cats.
Love #4-Marlon and #9-Norma. Don John. and Melanie kinda' creeped me out a little. Fun to see Jack and Tony as well! I'm thinkin' that Mr. Chris W. and Mr. Tim R. would love those pics!
Love #4-Marlon and #9-Norma J. Also fun to see Jack L. and Tony C. Don John. and Melanie kinda' creeped me out a bit. I'm thinkin' that Chris W. and Tim R. would Love those pics.! Fun stuff. Honorable mention to the Cloonater...looks like he earned his sexy Man Status, gotta' root for him now!
An incredible collection of photos having made quite an impact on me, but the one that stands out most is the one of OMG! George Clooney that will forever change the way I look at him.
#12, which is labeled as Charlie Chaplin, is of course actually an extremely early photo of Marlene Dietrich and her husband Rudolf Sieber in Germany; although at least one biographer suggests that they were never legally married, and he wasn't the father of her daughter.
It's a bit mean of you not to reveal your source for most of these. If you liked these photos there are hundreds more at http://tsutpen.blogspot.com - one of the best photo blogs on the internet.
MarkyMark7 got there first as I was going to say that is not Chaplin in pic no. 12 Early-ish Dietrich good though as shows she could still look good in a candid shot without the superb lighting etc of her films.
First off, I knew Christopher Walken had dancers legs, but who knew the guy was sick ripped at one time too? Secondly, this is a great collection of photographs you have got here. It's a nice mix of candids and studio shots as well. I always enjoy seeing the other side of some of my favorite on screen personalities, and this collection expresses that very well.
