Some I missed here: Kronos (Wrath of the Titans) and the huge long-legged thingy at the end of "The Mist".

No Hulk or Unicron? Oh well...
Mar 19th 2013, 13:04
hang on, what about the aliens at the end of Men In Black, they would have been billions of miles high
Mar 19th 2013, 13:27
I thought Talos from Jason and the Argonauts would have been in there for sure.
Mar 19th 2013, 13:39
Where the hell is unicron? He's a planet FFS!!
Mar 19th 2013, 13:43
Bah. Just finished reading and can't believe that there is neither Mega Shark nor Giant Octopus on the list. Movie snobbery at its worst.
Mar 19th 2013, 14:03
I love this list don't get me wrong, but Audrey II from "Little Shop of Horrors" should've made this list somewhere. In the director's cut of that film, there are giant plant pods destroying the city, crushing buildings, tearing down buildings, one is atop the statue of Liberty, and in one scene it shows one of the pods swallows a subway traom whole. You gotta admit that's pretty freaking crazy, and worthy of being on this list.
Mar 19th 2013, 14:04
sorry traom is supposed to be train.

What about the giant space slug in Empire strikes back. That would have to be bigger than anything on the list.
What about Gulliver's Travels? Gulliver may be normal size, but to the lilliputians he's a giant. And if you're not having that beacuse he's technically still normal size, then later on he goes to a land where he's tiny, so those people (can't remember what they are called) would be actual giants.

And speaking of giants, Jack the GIant Slayer? You guys reviewed about 2 weeks ago

What happened to Digby? The Biggest Dog in the World??
Mar 19th 2013, 18:11
Yeah not having Unicron on this list is a crime. Seems they were too lazy to do a "50" list.
Mar 20th 2013, 23:47
What a lazy f*****g list

Why do you all read articles from this site if all you do is complain? There is never an interesting comment to read considering all anyone does on here is complain about the list or article.

I would also have liked to have seen Unicron in there, same goes for Galactus, the Beast from Krull, and the god bug from Starship Troopers 3...
Mar 22nd 2013, 10:36
Wow , I just realized I'd left out the Giant Claw (all together now: "The Flying Battleship!!!")
Mar 23rd 2013, 16:28
Leaving out Unicron is a travesty!!!!!
He's a transforming PLANET!!!!!!!!
And even if you use the original cartoon series as a basis for his size, he's still bigger than the moon!!!!
Certainly in contention for THE biggest movie character in a list of big movie characters that include some random ones from the past and at least one we've not even seen yet!!!!!!11111oneoneone.

The biggest alien in movie history was the one playing with the marbles at the end of men in black
