    Well, in defense of Halloween 3. After the 2nd part they planned a new Halloween movie every year. And everytime with a different story, cast etc. But after it wasn't well received, Myers came back. And actually Kindergarten Cop is pretty bang on with its title. The Squid and the Whale on the other hand could easily be an Asylum-movie...just add some words like: The Giant Squid and the Mega Whale (...or did they actually already do that? Well, I lost count on the masterpieces of Asylum). Another pretty new misleading title is "Lincoln". I thought it's yet another attempt of portraying a story about a car-maker (like the good, but overseen Bridges-movie "Tucker")

    The Lovely Bones? Shadowboxer? Attack of the (good guy) clones? about half of the bond titles lets be fair are complete gibberish...A view to a kill..honestly. OK, they say it in the film but what rubbish

Bladerunner - A grand dramatic piece dealing with the competitve nature of figure skating starring Daniel Day Lewis, who actually spent 6 years as a professional skater in preparation for the role. Conan The Destroyer - Chat show host, Conan O'Brien goes on a rampage, slaughtering Jay Leno and David Letterman, before finally being beaten to a pulp by Jerry Springer's audience...

    Ok first off they mention in whip it more than once in the movie. It helps the players gain speed on the track. Maybe you should watch the movie

    I didn't mind most of the inclusions, but if there are more than one meaning to a word, then maybe moviegoers should read a synopsis beforehand. At least there was nothing like "Iron Man, which is not a man made of iron (in fact, his suit is a Gold-Titanium allow)" "Spiderman, whatever" and there was no "What it should have been called".

    You missed an opportunity there, surely Monster's Ball is all about a giant creature with only one testicle and how he's mad at the world so destroys everything due to sexual frustration and Hitler comparisons? No?

    "Honey, I Blew Up The Kid" I think it was in Comics Scene -- or was it Starlog, or another magazine altogether -- that reported the original name of the movie was supposed to be "Honey, I Blew Up The Baby", but for some reason they opted to change it.

My contribution - 'Salt' an ambitious new project by pixar about a family of sodium chloride grains stuck at the bottom of a salt sellar and how they plan their escape before they get deported onto a greasy potato slice and devoured.

    Trainspotting is called Trainspotting because wallpaper in Rents' childhood room is covered in trains so that is the majority of what he remembers of the time he was trying to get off Heroin so the title does make sense.
