The Bad: As George McFly’s (Crispin Glover) boss, bully and all round Hill Valley miscreant, Biff (Thomas F. Wilson) has been asking for a good slap from the day he was born.
None more so than when he forces himself on Lorraine (Lea Thompson) and almost breaks George’s arm before he is finally walloped to the ground by the greatest left hook in cinematic history.
The Good: With the future having been altered by George’s showing of brute strength, Biff is no longer his boss and cites the McFlys as loyal customers to his business who he treats with the up most respect.
He even assists in the preparation of Marty’s car for his big fishing trip with Jennifer (Claudia Wells).
The Lovely: Biff and George partake in some light-hearted banter as Tannen looks to do as little work as possible and Lorraine even credits him with getting the duo together.
She must have forgotten about the whole attempted rape thing then.

How about the hillbillies in deliverance? Didn't they help the guys back to the local sherrif's department safely after realising that they are only perpetuating a horrible Southern stereotype? I stopped watching after the manrape and went to my happy place so I assume that’s what happened.

You put a character from a Muppet movie above Darth Vader?

No at Severus Snape. A teacher who used his power and position to bully children until traumatized is never a good man.

Gollum never turns good.. he's leading them into a trap all the way through and as you state.. bites off Frodo's finger and falls to his doom.. hardly the work of a last minute hero. And Jurassic Park.. the T-Rex is hunting them all the way through the movie.. just blind luck for the good guys when he shows up and gets into a fight with the raptors.

I also don't think Biff Tannen particularly 'turns good', at least for the sake of morality i hope thats not the case. Hardly the lesson we want to teach people that if you smack someone in the face hard enough they will turn out 'good'. He's an absolute kn*b when he's rich and when he's bullying George McFly's boss at the beginning, so he doesn't really learn anything or see the error of his ways. George basically beats him into a life of submission.

Prost was unfairly depicted in the Senna doc. Besides, Senna deliberately took themselves both out the following year (1990) and was crowned champion. Isn't that just as bad?

Did you really just leave Dr. Evil off this list?

Gollum has a pretty good character arc (he does help Frodo out after he gets saved) but definitely not good in the end. His fall basically proves that he was worse than Saruman and that he'd never escape the Ring's hold. T-rex has no true conscience to speak of. If the group were in front of him, he'd have eaten them just the same. I like Biff's inclusion because it's not really based on a character arc, it's the eventuality that sees him being defeated, where he has to be good. Overall, despite some explanations being p**s-poor, I enjoy this list because I really like some of the classic characters. Being total-film, I'm surprised Selena Kyle wasn't on here.

Gollum and T-rex turning good? Doesn't make a bit of sense to me, and not even sure Biff Tannen had turned "good". Was he not just more meek and cowardly but still the a*****e at heart? The badness had never left him (see end of BTTF1 and BTTF2 for this). Good call @Haduken76 on Jaws, but for the same reason as Biff Tannen, I am not sure Marcelus Wallace would have qualified as good, just evening the score.

@CTurner1 "You put a character from a Muppet movie above Darth Vader?" I'd prefer to look at it as a character from a Dickens novel than a muppet movie. Dickens is better than Lucas, right?
