    god what a squandered talent. the biggest crash and burn since Orson Welles. At least Orson Welles could act. Some.

    Not Jabba personally, but the fact that he was in the New Hope: Special Edition takes all the mystique out of his original incarnation, when he was this powerful gangster spoken only in hushed tones and not revealed until the final movie. And the rubbish way in which he appears in episode 4, just makes him a laughing stock. Also Kit Fisto was pretty useless but had one of the best names in the series!

    Why don't you have a list of all the characters in every shi**y Stars Wars film/cartoon/play/musical or whatever George "C**k" Lucas is gonna do next, after Jedi

    Apart from the whole "who shot first" hooh hah (of course it was Han) I always thought that Greedo was played by a woman because Lucas wanted the character (who was supposed to be male) to move differently from a man. I'm sure I even saw a production picture of the actor in costume with high heels. I was talking out my hat of course as I just checked IMDB and so apologies to Paul Blake who actually did play him. Mind you IMDB says that William Hootkins played a British Army Major in Raiders of the Lost Ark which is total tosh so......... Oooh William Hootkins played a monk in Blackadder 2. He's gone even further up my Hall of Fame.

    Actually looking through this suddenly re-inforced my hatred of the prequels. They didn't really get any better. Just made it all the worse because the last bad one (two or three depending on your own personal taste) was still awful. I think it all went down hill as soon as Lucas allowed that comedy alien at the beginning of ROTJ to swallow the....oh god.....and burp....(I'm welling up now). Anyway Tim described it best in Spaced.

    just been through this 30 stupidest star wars characters list and out of the 30 i only knew half the other half were from 'star wars holiday special' and from things id never heard of lol but the only saving grace to whoever compiled this pile of s***e was that jar jar 'what the fec was mr lucas thinking of' binks was no. 1
