Someone really needs to look up the definition of the word 'political' in a dictionary. Most of these aren't. If you watched Watchmen or V for vendetta and didn't realise they were political films you need a slap.

Some of these are a bit of a stretch. Maybe "30 Films You Didn't Realise Were Political" - like Watership Down and, of course, Howard The Duck.

Sometimes a stick is just a stick. Although I thought Iron man 3 was reminiscent of Bin Laden, a boogieman created by the CIA to instil fear into the masses, to push through backdoor totalitarianism such as the Patriot Act (US) and Anti-terrorism laws (UK). and then he was conveniently 'buried at sea' (*cough* retired on a beach somewhere *cough*). Sounds a bit tinfoil hat brigade, Who's at the door??... Nooo.. !! Call Robert Langdooon

Ugh...did you steal the title from Cracked? Also, you can put politics into anything, to be honest. :/

I bet NO ONE knew about the "Unbreakable" article seeing as how it's... you know... FREAKING IMPOSSIBLE. Do I really have to mention the fact that 9/11/01 happened on the date September 11th, 2001, almost a full year after Unbreakable's release?

ALSO!!!!!!!!! CAN WE PLEASE STOP COMPARING IRON MAN 2 TO ATLAS SHRUGGED?! Granted, they're of similar quality, but calling Tony Stark an Objectivist is insulting. Tony Stark is a HERO who saves people FOR FREE. He's concerned about the government getting the suit because he knows they'll use it for war, something he's trying to prevent (hence the reason he stopped making weapons in the first film). A Rand-influenced Iron Man film would have Tony Stark charging people for saving them, and his apprehensions about handing over the suit would be the loss in profit. Iron Man is, essentially, a GOOD PERSON. Not to mention the fact that it's stated in the film that Ivan's father was deported because he wanted to make a profit on the energy project with Howard Stark, which p****d Howard off. So, yeah, let's talk about how Ivan is clearly a Communist, right?

Ok, I thought I was done, but "The Dark Knight Rises" really isn't much of a political allegory. You can't really sell a "corporations are bad" message when the hero of the film is Bruce Wayne.

Really Total Film? It very condescending to think your readers wouldn't "realize" these most of these films were political. V For Vendetta Really? Watchmen Really? X-Men? come on.....

I just assume that the news articles on this site are aimed at adults and these lists are aimed at kids. Makes the whole process easier, it really does.
