Dont agree with the Hult Hogan one. i thought the film was meant to be silly and that little cutaway fit right in.

I personally like the Alanis Morrissette Dogma one. Quite a surprise and not too bad considering she can't speak. Each to their own though?

GNR is in Dirty Harry for a reason, DID YOU WATCH THE MOVIE? Jim Carry plays the singer and is killed off, the song at the beginning of the film that he sings "Welcome to the jungle" by GNR.

G N' R (and also Jim Carrey) in Dead Pool is OK. How about RHCP members in Point Break?

I think its a little harsh to pick put the blink and you'll miss them stuff like Richard Branson and even George Lucas. They were probably done as bit of fun, or as a favour to the director (or just because they're rich and could do it). The exteneded cameos, or anything where dialogue is clunkily delivered are the ones we should ridicule the most. And the Hulk Hogan one is awesome.

Personally I loved Mike Myers in Inglourious, just thought it was really weird and cool, in a bizarre kind of way! Finding out Tom Petty makes a cameo in The Postman has made my day though! Normally I would say I now have to see this film, but I think I'll leave it at that!

Good list, although the Cowell cameo was the best thing about Scary Movie 3. which is an indication of how dire the entire series is.

It might just be me, but I loved Bruce Willis' cameo in Ocean's 12. I thought the whole Julia Roberts pretending to be Julia Roberts was hilarious. I also loved Myers in Inglorious Basterds!

here to be fair to Mike Myers wasn't the role originally supposed to be for Simon Pegg, and Myers was drafted in when Simon Pegg had to drop out?

The Tarantino Cameo is a tradition in his movies so is a welcome inclusion. The change of mood from the climatic style gun fight before his cameo is not only funny but a good filmmaking tool. Myers’ portrayal in Basterds , if funnier would have been a good ingredient for a Tarantino film. Damon’s cameo makes me want to watch Finding Forrester a movie I previously hadn’t want to see, Good Will Hunting was a great film and it would be interesting to see what the character is up to. Concerning EuroTrip, let them eat sweets, Damon is just having a bit of fun, playing away from his usual serious roles. These are cameos and are not supposed to be taking too seriously, they are random, short performances….If you must have such a list base it on cameos that were badly performed, too long or people that are not popular….

Right on with #28. I felt like I was taking crazy pills, that whole sequence threw me off.

I agree with dickie33 that it is a welcome inclusion in his movies, but I still feel like it could have been more tastefully done.

Heh - I like how the Stephen King cameo is in there, but Clive Barker's equally awful turn is ignored, even though he's standing right next to him in the picture!

@Dickie33 -I enjoyed Finding Forrester - it's generic sure, but it's still entertaining. Also, Damon's character is NOT Will Hunting - his characters name is something else.
