Oh no.39 (or 2, if you like) was crying out for "Two birds with one bone!" But maybe Total Film is higher brow than that!

In the opening montage for X-Men Origins he wasn't fighting "for his country" as Wolvie himself exclaims in the film "I'm Canadian."

Damn you for the #1 pick. Allow me to reorganize this: 1. Anything from X-men and X2, the fights and bone claws of comics, "Spider-man's a sissy." 2. Opening to Marvel Ultimate Alliance. "What are you girls looking at?" 3. Hulk Vs.- newer animated. Great brawl. 4. Wolverine's skin disintegrating at the end of Last Stand. And that's it. No Origins, no more X3. But more than those, no F-bomb during a damn music montage. And either Wolverine would do worse than that or Xavier or Magneto would have done something about it. Don't you think Erik might have had some sense that his skeleton was metal and just messed him up? you know, like every great scene between them? Or maybe not, Because Fassbender can't match McKellan.

@nkutzler Actually, at that stage there was no adamantium to sense. Erik and Charles were recruiting in the early sixties, Logan didn't get adamantium till after Vietnam, so some time in the 70s

Wolverine sounds tough as nails until you remember he's named after a ferret.

@Hadouken - Have you ever seen a wolverine go at it? Scary sumb***hes when in full attack mode. Also, the only person I can think of who had the pseudonym "Wolverine" attached to him was Chris Benoit... and we know for a fact he could kill you with his bare hands. ;)
