Good list, some interesting choices. Hardy in "Bronson" was very impressive. It's also nice to see Giamatti here. Even though I only liked the movie so-so, his performance was brillant! I would have included Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash. And even though the character is only loosely based on a real-life killer I might have added Michael Rooker in "Henry". Oh...and how about "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid"?

Bruno Gainz should have been number 1, Number 40 = Really?, Ray Liotta as Henry Hill is a dubious choice even though it's a magic film my understanding that he was nothing like the real Henry Hill. Leonardo Di Caprio as Howard Hughes and Russel Crowe as John Nash should have been included. I also thought Martin Sheene made a better David Frost than he did Brian Clough.

Most of A Beautiful mind was fabricated to the point where it barely qualified as a true life biopic. The producers maintained that "The film was not meant to be a literal representation" which is Hollywood speak for "We pulled any old sh't out of our arsses to fit the made-up narrative".
