Some of these are ridiculous! Doc Ock in the abyss?? And i didn't for one second think that the inside of Javier Bardem's face disintegrating away wasn't CGI. In fact, it was pretty poor CGI that distracted from a film that should otherwise be commended for it's amazing array of old school stunts. Whilst I appreciate TF keeping their website entertaining each day, you really don't have to stretch everything out to a list of 50....

Mclanes racist sandwich board in Die Hard with a Vengeance actually read : "I hate everyone" in real life, to avoid confrontations in Harlem.

Hmmm... I'd long presumed Gary Sinise was probably a committed method actor who hacked his legs off for the Forrest Gump role. I think the 300 thing was kind of obvious, as was Javier Bardem's "wound". Certainly shocked, though, in an altogether hugely overrated film.

I actually think this is one of TF's better lists - it was actually interesting! The Machete reveal has just blown my mind - I'm equally impressed and saddened.

Fincher and Zodiac were the 1st two things that popped into my mind. But there really are some ridiculous mentions in here. Stop creating top 50 lists that you yourselves do not fully understand, TF!

CGI breasts, CGI nudity, CGI abs, f****** CGI nipples ... what does this world has come to?!

mostly good list, Fincher truly is a master at this sort of thing. In his Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, i think the most subtle use of CGI is the parting in Lisbeth's hair just before she finds the dead cat, which was added for the purposes of continuity (Yes, i watched it w/ Fincher's commentary). I was also impressed in Andrew Dominik's Assassination of Jesse James, in which Jesse's middle finger is digitally removed from every shot w/ his hand in. Also, the ping pong scene in Moon is amazingly done.

I knew that Ollie Reed's last scenes were CGI'd - but it took a few viewings to realise which bit exactly it was. That seemed a necessary and well done bit of tinkering.

This list was so close to being good. If only you could have cut it off at 35 or 40. When you include Gary Sinise cutting his legs off along side CGI napkins and feathers, you undermine your point and credibility. Ten or fifteen of these are OBVIOUSLY CGI. You can't site an image packed full of CGI and expect to surprise people by pointing out that part of it is CGI.

Except the DaVinci Code takes place in Paris and London. That church in the picture is Saint-Sulpice in Paris.

Lindsay Lohans career was CGI'd, until it got so corrupted, they unplugged it.

I heard R-Patz' abs were CGI-d for Twilight too (New Moon, specifically). Body painting and air-brushing a six pack on set apparently wasn't enough to do the trick... Our scrawny Brit couldn't compete with Taylor Lautner.

No. 45 - You mean they weren't actually firing machine guns at those actors? No Way!

I thought they re-built the city of Chicago to look like it was in the 1930's for Road To Perdition. Same with the Colosseum in Gladiator. Also in Panic Room I was convinced they had a ghost camera that could go through walls.

Would rather see a feature highlighting the amount of seamless cgi completed by companies in the UK. How many people know that movies like Inception, Dark Knight Rises, Sunshine, Total Recall and many many more, all had visual effects entirely supplied by UK companies?

How can you not include any of the Bourne films in this list!? They're stuffed with subtle CGI - in fact, the first shot in the first film of Bourne's body in the ocean is entirely CGI.

You missed one significant entry: The Raid: Redemption. All weapons in the movie were replicas, so all muzzle flashes, bullet wounds and slugs were CGI.

Uh - there's a LOT of errors in this list. You either needed to be more specific, or do more research. Have you confused the term CGI with Special Effect??? Load of tosh.
