Might be a bit quick to dismiss that Aunt May and Uncle Ben get together. PIcture 21 makes it look......interesting???

Well well, there's so much gold on this list. Who wouldn't wanna see "Tales from the Leather Nun" or "Tarot: Witch of the Black Rose"? Too bad Joe D'Amato isn't with us anymore...And "Amputee Love" has to be made! I see a collaboration between Tom Six and Srdjan Spasojevic as a directing-duo for that. Also "Madam Fatal" sound great, maybe with Statham or Diesel in the lead...or even better: The Rock! And I would pay good money to see the "Hamsters" movie (ok...there was "G-Force"....). And Star Trek / X-Men...might be crappy, but everybody would go see it, so why not.

Gonna disagree with on on the Carnage Vs Spider-man argument. After 4 films I'd really like to see a villain that's just a villain for the sake of being a villain; enough with the "poor me, I was just trying to help" baddies that have been thrown at us. I'm discounting Venom from Spider-man 3 because, well, because he was an embarrassment .

Shazam at number 5? Hell NO! Shazam would make a fantastic film, as a CHILDREN'S MOVIE. The Rock has been in talks to play Black Adam seemingly forever, in my humble opinion this is a franchise that Warner Bros may actually be able to pull off!

Strangely enough I think - Captain Britain & Love and Rockets (Hopper) would be the only comic books worth making because they are so different to anything else - CB is a truly beautifully weird tale by Alan Moore and L&R is just about the most human, funny and moving comic book ever put together ... however I wouldn't want either made because the corporate system would just ruin both of them.

I'd love to see the House of M story on screen, but maybe would only work on the small screen as part of any 'Marvel Universe' tv show. I thought that was a brilliant crossover story and Identity Crisis as well - could be done in the same way as 'Watchmen' as more of a mystery who-done-it with superheroes in

I must protest Rom's inclusion. The book had a good run, was nothing at all like Transformers and considerably outlasted the toy it was based on (which crashed and burned AFAIK). It was also one of the first books in the modern ETA whose events spilled over into the rest of the publisher's line.

#37, please. EVERYBODY needs a symbiote story done right. Those are always dark chapters in Spider-man stories, and they also brign out the darker side of Peter Parker and have him fight to regain his heroism. Really, Spidey 3 focused too much of the movie on the first part (and meaningless use of 2 love interests and a petty best friend), then brought Venom in. Venom, or a murderous Carnage, need to be torturing Spider-Man for at least half a film. BTW, Flash Thompson as Venom is the way to go.

so, Captain Britain is a poor man Steve Rogers? I would recommend that you do a little something called 'research'.. you know that thing your supposed to do when you write an article. Captain Britain is nothing like Captain America. Jeeze... TF gets more sloppy everyday!

Preacher and Y The Last Man should never be made into movies they are too large to condense into a two hour movie. They need to go down The Game Of Thrones route and look to HBO for a tv series.

DC have already done a version of The Death of Superman with the animated Superman: Doomsday and that was rather great, truth be told. A live action version of that (as the third or fourth film in the series that's about to begin) could be great too.

superman red/blue? 1998? you sure? there was a superman red/blue before that where lex used red kryptonite instead of the more usual green kryptonite and we had red/blue superman sounds familer yes? well thats right, until you throw into the equation that they still only have 1 set of super powers between them, so if one is flying the other can't, lasers, super strength etc there was also a space cowboy, complete with flying into space horse (who lex used to find the wrong kryptonite but that's a different story altogether, even though it's the same story)

and anyway, you should do a list of 50 comic book characters who SHOULD be filmed, i'd start with deaths head (but not deaths head 2 because he went a bit sappy) who else would help 2 different villians go after the same treasure, seperatly, with both promising him a 50% cut, and then leave them both for the rozzers to capture as he takes 50% from one and 50% from the other? classic lol

The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers is already underway as far as I know. Went to a panel with the creators and viewed some animation tests at a comic con in Brighton a few years back. Actually looked quite funny.

what do you mean "Kill the frranchise stone dead"? It alread IS! well, the movie industry could turn the tide on this debacle (by DC managewise) by letting Luthor off Supes' hide as it should be (no bloody ressurections this time) which would in turn eventually lead to the Tarnation of Luthor's demise by the hands of the People's power and the entire arsenal of DC superheroes itself, but first they would have to first set the movies for each character- THIS would then serve as the grand finale (after they have done a CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTH Trilogy that is)

GAIMAN should've been shoved with a file suit down his a**e for this one, dunno what's with DC Comics to allow such titles that resemble an old character of theirs with something ill-contrived and totally different from the one they had.

Personally speaking - don't shoot me, its just an opinion - I'd like to see an end to all super hero movies. I find them a little tedious at best. Yeah some are OK, like Avengers, but I get really disheartened that all we seem to be served these days are comic book films. For every average action flick dressed up in spandex there are 5 awful, pointless cash-ins (yeah you Sucker Punch). I mean, really!! If 50% of blockbuster films were about the same other thing, say spies for example, wouldn't we all be a bit bored of them by now? I think the demand placed on studios for the same, but bigger, super-hero films and comic adaptations is strangling creativity. How many origin stories can we be fed? How many times can Superman or Spiderman be reborn before it gets repetitive? I know studios only give the public what they want, thats where the profit is. And if they weren't profitable they wouldn't be made. But seriously, enough already! Go work on something else, something new. Or is it just me?

RaveyDaveyGravy get ready for Star Wars overkill. A promised / threatened new SW movie every year PLUS spin-offs. With Marvel, Disney are going to be coining it in for the next decade.
