I'm sorry but Calvin and Hobbes should, and will, never be made into a cartoon/movie. Bill Watterson himself said it perfectly...What makes C&H so good is that when each individual person reads, they do so with their own voice and personality for each character, if your put that onto screen, you take that, and thus the imagination, away.

Black Hole is such a perfect graphic novel, why that hasnt been made into a film yet is beyond me. Id also like to see Y: The Last Man made into a tv series, theres a lot of potential there.

Hasn't Afro Samurai already been made into a live action film? Also, I think Michael Jai White would make a better Black Panther.

I didn't like Nemesis - thought it was being overly violent just for the sake of being overly violent. @dancarmody -I completely agree with you that Y: The Last man would make an excellent tv show (especially if HBO gave ti a shot). 10 episisodes, 1 based on each book would be perfect. Think it would work better than the big screen. Oh, and where in Iron Man 2 is it "suggested Black Panther exists in present day" - did i miss something?

Wheres the Awesome DMZ or the deeply Disturbing CROSSED, Surely they should be in there, Way Better than MOST of the 50 you referenced, Both of them would make Awesome Movie or DMZ, An Epic TV Series!!

@SiMan, it is when Stark and Shield are in a room talking. There is TV footage of the "incident at Culver University" for the Hulk, and it shows a map with possible locations of "superheroes" and a close up of Africa is one of them, suggesting Wakanda, i.e. black panther :-)

Where's the manga series Lone Wolf and Cub? Even if it is animated, it has the potential of being a perennial or bi-perennial film series like 007. Hiroyuki Sanada would be great as the Shogun's Executioner Ogami Itto, forced to take the path of an assassin with his young son Daigoro. You can find this whole series on Amazon or any local comic book/manga shop.

Love the Vision ideas. I guess I missed the issue when he learned how to change his Destiny as well as his Density. Helps explain how he ends up with Scarlet Witch I guess.

Battle Angel has already been made into a feature length Anime so I'm not quite sure why you've included it. Also where is Button Man a comic book story that would in fact be an easy transition to the big screen.

@FBDThomas: Lone Wolf and Cub has already been made into a movie (several, actually). And I think it's weird that they put Afro Samurai there, but didn't even mention the OVA or the anime movie...

Always thought DC comic's Camelot 3000 would make for an epic film. Aliens invade earth only for a resurrected King Arthur to save the day.

There's a great little indie comic called Minimum Wage by Bob Fingerman which would make an amazing Kevin Smith -esque movie.
