Never has 17th century painting been sexier.
As the shy, restrained maid Griet becomes enamoured with painter Johannes Vermeer (Colin Firth), the sexual tension between the pair rises to unbearable levels.
And then, as Vermeer comes to paint the eponymous portrait, he lightly positions her head, rubbing his thumb along her lip and essentially seducing her with posing tips.
Johansson meanwhile perfectly portrays repressed intimacy while still managing to exactly recreate the famous painting’s original pose.

Well she's got a massive wrack and scrubs up well, but she can't act for s**t. She was great in Lost In Translation... but that's 10 years ago, man. She needs to rely on her looks less and actually get some acting lessons. Until then she'll remain fap material for adolescents.

Seriously Jareth64, do you just come on here to have a moan? I've never seen anything positive in any of your comments.

I happen to agree with Jareth64... Lost in Translation is the highlight of her career, since then done nothing of substance, just a series of pin-up roles. She made Black Widow into Bland Widow, turning an ace super-spy into a boring spandex moneyshot with a Russian accent less convincing than Don Cheadles' 'cockerrneeee' in Oceans 11.

Jareth64 I rest my case. You have anger issues
