Really? Sexual chemistry with Sofia Gigante-Falcone? Played by Eliza Dushku? You've seen the image used with this right? The Gigante part of her name is incredibly appropriate. She's one of the few female characters in comics to not be unspeakably attractive, and should stay that way for a movie.

I forgot how many characters The Animated Series either created outright or brought back from complete obscurity. I really have to watch that series again.

The version of Killer Croc from Brian Azzarello's 'Joker' would have fitted perfectly in Nolan's world.

Phantasm and Reaper are the same villain. If you've read "Year Two" it should be a twist that Andrea Beaumont is the Phantasm when you watch MOTP.

Batman fought Judge Death too in Judgement on Gotham. I'd have given him a mention.

Can we just have a movie NOT in the same vein as Nolan's films? I LOVE Nolan's films, and I too am sad to see them go. But am I the only one who agrees that the inevitable reboot should just do its own thing? If the new Batman's going to be in the Justice League, it's sort of important that things get a little fantastic.

You have a point StevePotter but I'd like to see a serious Nolan-esque film with The Mad Hatter

Red Hood would work well as a trilogy, Robin/Nightwing origin in the first movie, dying in the second movie and becoming Red Hood in the third movie

These films should be dark, definitely, but let's add some sci-fi and fantasy into the mix!

this article is full of spoilers, hush, the long halloween and dark victory are all structured like murder mysteries and you reveal the villain in all of them

@FBPRyan Well to be fair, all of these stories have been around long enough that 99% of the people wanting to read this article would already know the villain in all of them. And if you didn't want the villain spoiled for you in some stories you shouldn't read an article which is about Batman's greatest villains, should you...

Two things -: 1) If something has been out for a long time (as in the case with a lot of the stories mentioned in this article), they can't really be classed as spoilers. I mean, would you seriously expect, in this day and age, to read an article or feature on the Star Wars series and have it not mention Vader being Luke's father? 2) If you wanted to keep it within the Nolan-verse that's been created, Killer Croc could be featured (as an in-joke-a-like cameo) by having someone go up against a large, but normal, human being (someone the size of say Kane from WWE), but have them under the effects of Scarecrow's fear gas. Thus, even though it is just a man in front of them, the victim sees this man/croc hybrid coming to get them.
