Excuse my pedantism, but "Watchmen" was released in 2009, not 2007 (the Rorschach one). Otherwise, great list - great recounting the ones I have seen and pushing me towards the ones I haven't!

Great list TF. Though thought the SWAT scene in DKR might've had a look in, great action set piece in my opinion. Though I could potentially have filled the entire 50 with Nolan-verse Batman moments.

First time in a long time that I agree with a TF list. Buuuuuuut.... I would also add the first flight of The Rocketeer and the final shot of Batman (1989). Batman on top of the tower was the a great salute to the character. Plus any shot of Michael Keaton striking a pose...

Ticks all the boxes, not sure about the order though. Would have liked to have seen Michael Keaton's first scene as Batman in there, oh and the moment Obadiah Stane reveals his true colours to Tony Stark. Oh and of course, the moment Stark reveals he is Iron Man. Thor's banishment by the hand of Sir Anthony is much more memorable than the battle with The Destroyer. How about the opening scene of X-Men?

I haven't glanced at the list yet but for me it's the intro to The Dark Knight, it's not just a great comic book movie moment it's one of the greatest cinema scenes of all time IMO.

No Turtles? At least their first live action fight was an impressive use of choregraphy and animatronics

Love the site and the features, but how many times do you guys use the same scenes/moments over and over? In the last month there have been at least 3 features with the Wolverine "Go Eff Yourself" scene. What's next; "Greatest Hugh Jackman Monents", "Greatest Wolverine Moments", "Greatest Usage of the F Word", "Greatest Scenes of A Guy Sitting at a Bar", "Greatest Scenes Where A Character is Wearing A Black Leather Jacket Over a White T-Shirt"??? Come on already. Stop tossing off and put a little effort into it.

Great list. All of them are amazing scenes. My personal favourites are:- 1) "I'm Batman" (Batman Begins) 2) Spiderman swinging through New York City final scene (Spiderman) 3) Helicopter save (Superman: The Movie) 4) Interrogation scene (The Dark Knight) 5) Berserker Rage (X2)

completely agree with the list, if only it were more than 50! One scene that really is quite gritty is in Superman Returns where he lands on the kryptonite island unaware of the kryptonite and Lex's goons start kicking s**t out of him and then Lex stabs and pushes him off the edge. A good gritty dark moment in a film that contained none of it elsewhere. Also despite it being a sucky a film but the part in Origins: Wolverine where Creed and Logan first fight (no adamantium) and he snaps his bone claws, the thought of it makes my toes cringe! Schreiber's performance was also really good!

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with #49. The Green Hornet came out less than a year after Kick-a*s which featured a much more funnier scene between Kick-a*s and Red Mist singing along to Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy" ... this scene just copies it, not original and certainly not the "Greatest Moment" in Green Hornet

@Ali1748 it so is! love this list guys. As a comic book geek and a superman nerd this is my 2nd fave feature (first being that HILARIOUS harry potter fan art one) . I love the two face reveal in DK i wasn't expecting two face in a joker movie but was over the moon when i saw it. My fave ever comic book moment however was being in the cinema for harry potter when the DKR trailer came on. I didnt know it was coming and f**k me did i shoot to the edge of my seat and squeal.

great list A few scenes worth mentioning I'm a big Superman fan so bear with me. 1) Superman II - Final scene in the fortress of solitude when Superman does the switcharoo on Gen Zod and his crew. Superman finally knees before Zod before squeezing Zod's hands, breaking every bone in Zod's hand and lifting him above his shoulders to the famous Superman theme tune. (that scene should be on your list) 2) Sign off scenes for all the Superman movies - the final scene when any superman movie ends - where he banks in flight high above the earth is always so iconic. 3) Superman III - where Bad Superman fights Good Clark Kent - best scene in an otherwise average movie. I love where Clark Kent overcomes and then rips open his shirt to the iconic theme Otherwise great list Another favorite of mine is from the jet scenes in X2 - where Nightcrawler saves Rogue afther a missile rips open the jet's haul

@FBDHam "One scene that really is quite gritty is in Superman Returns where he lands on the kryptonite island unaware of the kryptonite and Lex's goons start kicking s**t out of him and then Lex stabs and pushes him off the edge. Anyhow, the reason that bit in Superman Returns feels so gritty as you put it is because it comes off the back of Superman having his power at the maximum for the majority of the movie. If the whole movie played "gritty" (there is that word again) it wouldn't have worked - in my opinion - of making a great Superman movie, Singer did a splendid job and I think with age people will come to see this.

Hang on! What about when Peter Parker finds out he can walk on walls in Spiderman 1 or when Bruce Wayne overcomes his fear of Bats in Batman Begins? The opening scene on Krypton from Superman. This list is way off
