Yes! This is one of the films that got me reading up on film history and watching every foreign film I could get my hands on - a classic, classy action movie with breathtaking style. Kurosawa forever...

Where the hell is Rififi? And no Ringu or Audition? Shame, as this list was shaping up quite nicely.

mmm... As someone who has seen over 300 Korean films I have to say, shame on you total film, if by having Old Boy in this list, you think that it is the best Korean film ever made.

Good but a bit male-orientated. Sorry! Cyrano de Bergerac is my favourite all-time film. Where's Cinema Paradiso (It), Ridicule (Fr), The Devil's Backbone(Sp), Nine Queens (Arg), Raise the Red Lantern(Ch), Farewell, My Concubine(Ch), The Tree of the Wooden Clogs (It), Lust Caution (Ch), House of the Flying Daggers (Ch), The Edge of Heaven (Tur), Babette's Feast (Dan), Betty Blue (Fr), Marketa Lazarova (Cze) - truth is that World Cinema is too wide a subject to be anything but individual taste in the end. I'm mad about it all though and welcome this list!
