A mixed bag here really. good - old boy, audition, battle royale, devils back bone. However i really dont rate some on here, 28 days later especially. Just shows frightfest is opne to the same random sack of monkey knackers as most things.

Kill List is hugely overrated - especially that moronic ending stolen from Wicker Man. And inretrospect 28 Days Later is a bit naff.

I like 28 days later up to point that they meet up with the army.. then it gets a bit s**t. Red Eye was an absolute pile of bollocks.. Wes Craven is the most over rated director/producer/whatever of all time in my opinion

I hate Kill List. Honestly cannot see what all the hype is about. managed to struggle through it without turning it off, but just did not get it. At all.

I'm with you SiMan, I got the plot etc but just don't get why it's heaped with so much praise. We are in the minority though

Glad to see KILL LIST so high. It's one of my favourite films to date, and i don't understand all the hate for it in the comments. Maybe people dislike it cos they saw it expecting a conventional film, i made the same mistake the first time i watched it, but it just gets better upon repeated viewings. Glad that TF appreciates its awesomeness

It's a strange one, I can't exactly pin point what I didn't like about it.. it's not because I was expected anything conventional, it was just the whole thing felt completely flat to me. I liked the main guy but that's about it. I will give it another go at some point though.

Kill List was a total load of b0ll0cks! I really wish I could come up with some form of intellectual reasoning behind my blunt and immature mini-review, but I really can't expand much more than to say it's the biggest two hours of horsesh!t that i've ever sat through in my life!

@ChrisWootton If u do watch it again, i think the key is to not take it all on a literal level, maybe think about how much u think is really occuring, particularly the final 20 minutes. On IMDb there is a good message board about it where someone explains his take on it - all the levels and potential double meanings. (Just read through what i wrote, and realised that it sounded a little patronising, which i assure is unintentional)

Well l haven't seen it, but it sounds like it provokes as much speculation and confusion as Donnie Darko and Mulholland Drive, which can't be a bad thing.

No worries Henry, I didn't think you were being patronising. It's obvious you really like the movie, I'll give it another go and no doubt continue this conversation at a later date

Completely understand how some people would of hated Kill List. I myself absolutely loved it. I was told to go in watching it without any previous knowledge and follow the film down the rabbit hole. I did exactly this and came out stunned. The whole british setting and style of the film gave it a very realistic feel, which made the more shocking moments of the film hit you that much more. However, going into the film without wanting to be swept-up by it may make it seem quite boring.
