Great article, I hadn't spotted most of these. The added joke for no. 17 is that Chris Evans IS the "original" Human Torch, of course. And does EVERY Marvel film have a post-credits scene? Tony Stark appears before Hulk ends, doesn't he?

They really need to put Neil Mcdonough as Dum Dum Dugan (from the Howling Commandos) on Agents of Shield. He is a big part of the mythology, and he does TV. Plus he is one of the most underrated actors out there.

What no X-men references? "What would you prefer, yellow spandex?" Rebecca Romijn's cameo in X-men First Class. Gambits real name appears when Mystique hacks the computer in X-men 2. The chick Xavier tries to pull in Oxford has different coloured eyes, the future ill-fated Mrs Stryker?

In Daredevil (not as bad as folk say...), in the scene where the gangster is trying to convince Jack Murdock to throw the fight he says "Mack, Miller, Bendis... they're all my fighters..." (sic), listing three writers of the Daredevil series.

#28 is actually a bigger Easter Egg than you mentioned. Besides the Dr. Reinstein reference, there's also the great big "Stark Industries" logo right there staring you in the face. On top of that, it has the "Program" listed as "Weapon Plus". In the RetCon world that is Marvel, Weapon Plus was the overall project that developed into the Super Soldier Program that gave birth to Captain America. He is occasionally referred to as Weapon I. Later efforts developed into the Weapon X (as in 10) project that brought us Wolverine, Deadpool, and Sabretooth. Weapon XIII is Fantomex, the Stepford Cuckoos are Weapons XIV, and Weapon Infinity is also known as Project: Deathlok. So, as you can see, #28 may, in fact, be one of the "busiest" cameos in this entire list. @EdwardReed, I think this list is specific to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that's why you don't see things like the DAREDEVIL references. And for anyone that cares, it's my personal opinion that DAREDEVIL went WAY overboard with that stuff.

About E.E. #4, Lou Ferrigno also appears in the first "Hulk", side by side with Stan Lee.

Sorry but no. 23 is incorrect, it's not Robert Downey Jr’s handprints in the concrete. I would love to post a picture of he's prints and the one from the movie, so you can see the difference, but it seams it's not possible.

As for No1, judging from the number of people who walked out at the end of Thor Dark World before the credits when I saw it, not everyone has figured out that you stay till the very end!

Great List, some obvious and some not. But Stan Lee isn't in every Marvel film as he won't be in Guardians of the Galaxy, he is in every one he personally had something to do with the character creation.

Spiderman is seen swinging around right before Hulk and Abomination throw down in "The Incredible Hulk". He's seen twice: In the distance behind Hulk. and Maybe in the smoke next to Abomination. it DOES take place in New York!!!

I knew I'd read this before (even though it says the article is from today) and then I scrolled down as saw comments from October 2013. Total Film, why have you reposted this article and then stated it is an article from March 28th, 2014? I don't mind reposted articles (as people may have missed them first time around), but don't change the date to make it seem like it's something new.

This list is great but should have been written after seeing, All Hail the King, the Marvel one-shot about Trevor Slattery meeting a real member of the Ten-Rings when he is in prison.

Nice list, but they left out the Bill Bixby Easter Egg from Incredible Hulk, as he made a "cameo" as well. Banner sits to eat and watch TV in the early part of the film, and he is watching "The Courtship of Eddie's Father," which also starred Bill Bixby. So in fact, both actors from the old TV series were in this movie.

#35 - You also see a reference to Titan (hanging from the lamp post); Titan is the origin place for Thanos and his race of Titanian Eternals. And we see Thanos in the the mid-credits scene #28 - The label reads "Weapon Plus", no "Super Soldier" This is a nod to the program that attempts to replicate the original formula that created Captain America; later version would be Weapon I...VI..and Weapon X - which was the program responsible for bonding Adamantium to Wolverine's bones and claws #3 - On the same boards, there is the camera phone footage of the Hulk's rampage through the college.

There's also, IIRC, a Stark logo on Magneto's prison in either the first or second Xmen movie (I can't remember at the moment), and most sci fi fans would recognize jms, as being the creator of Babylon Five.

portland6 ,you're right that Chris Evans is the original "film" Human Torch. But in comic terms and the costume in the photo, the original Torch was an android who appeared with his sidekick Toro,Captain America,Bucky Barnes and Namor as The Invaders fighting during WW2.
