Universal postpone production in wake of Paul Walker's tragic death
The Mid-Life Crisis: Alex (Glenn Close) is at the wrong end of 30 and despite her success in business, doesn’t seem to have had much luck in love. Until she meets Dan (Michael Douglas), with whom she shares an idyllic weekend.
Shame he’s married…Reasons To Be Cheerful: It all goes very wrong for Alex, who won’t give Dan up without a fight. But she can rest easy in the knowledge that her rather violent actions result in the coining of a brilliant phrase: bunny boiler.

Didn't realise quite how much Nicholas Hoult is starting to look like Hugh Grant (looking at the pic at no.33). Freaky.

I'm sad The Nightmare Before Christmas isn't on there, that movie is essentially a Halloween ghoul having a mid life crisis.

Robot & Frank? I know he's a bit older than mid-life

#48, Barbara Whiteman was played by Bette Midler. Not Meryl Streep.

I'd say Ben in Leaving Las Vegas was having a pretty major bit of a midlife crisis. And how about Andy Dufresne in Shawshank Redemption? Busting out of prison just cos he's bored and wrongly imprisoned. What a loser.

No High Fidelity? I'm disappointed

Since most of these involve men, I'd like to add MONSTER-IN-LAW to the list. If Jane Fonda didn't go through a midlife crisis of hilarious and gargantuan proportions in this movie, then I just don't know what a midlife crisis is LOL
