Nice list! I was happy to see "Ghostbusters" and "Dawn of the Dead" here. Some that might be worth adding: "Hangover 2" when they're drunk and we see them from kids perspective, "Groundhog Day" when Phil tries different suicide methods, "Dumb and Dumber" during the Pretty Woman song. And even "Commando" was on the list, but I like the weapons gear-up scene towards the end more than the one you guys chose.

Not a particularly good Bond movie, but the montage of Bond being tortured by the North Koreans during the titles of Die Another Day was excellent.

I'm not really sure if it counts as a proper montage but I'd like to add Robocop to the list. Specifically the bit where they build him and we keep getting flashes of his construction from his perspective. Also Predator for when Dutch is preparing all his traps and what-not.

This is a really good list. The only thing I'd change is Up at #9. I think it should have broken the top 3! Phenomenal piece of film.

Cobra...Angel of the City by Robert Tepper while Sly trawls the streets for the Nightslasher deserves a spot on here. As does the Beethoven training sequence from Warrior.

@apo1978.. Calves on fire in my case lol... Predator has 2 decent montages with 'Buidling a trap' and ' Hunted' becomes hunter aka Arnie goes caveman'. In both cases, Silvestri brilliant score is full of foreboding..

The "Rambo II" montage was lampooned and made into an even better montage when Gizmo Rambos up in "Gremlins 2".

I cannot believe the reviewer missed the ending "Parenthood" montage with Steve Martin. =( It is a beautiful, lovely, heart-wrenching series of scenes showing these family members who have drifted and have been torn apart in some ways, yet are brought together as they bring a new grandchild into the world. It is one of the best and huge jeers for missing it. You are NOT a true film fan.
